Today is my aunt’s 80th birthday. She got her birthday wish. She died peacefully early, early this morning.

Control freak and master of dramatic timing to the very end.

About megan hicks

The best parts of my life happen when I pull magic from thin air. That happens with the spoken word. The written word. Reclaiming trash in the material world. It's about recognition. Re-cognition. Learning fresh the truth I've always known. Seeing new potential as a result of a change in context. It's alchemy.

  1. I wished I could have hugged you this morning after you shared the news. Obnoxious customer in the way! Find me when you get back to LT. I am so glad you got to say farewells this summer. We'll just keep telling our stories to each other.

Oh Megan; life and death can be so strange. Thinking of you during this part of your life's journey.
